PENGARUH KEPEMIMPINAN MANAJERIAL KEPALA SEKOLAH TERHADAP KINERJA GURU SMP (DI KOMISARIAT WILAYAH (KOMWIL) 05 TARUB)
ABSTRACTrnThis research was conducted at the scope of all junior high schools (both state owned and private owned) which are located in Tarub Area Commissioner 05, Regency of Tegal. The aims of this research were (1) to analyze the influence of head master’s planning capability of school activities to the teacher’s performance. (2) to analyze the influence of head master’s organizing capability of school activities to the teacher’s performance. (3) to analyze the influence of head master’s actuating capability of school activities to the teacher’s performance. (4) to analyze the influence of head master’s controlling capability of school activities to the teacher’s performance. (5) to analyze the simultaneous influence of head master’s planning, organizing, actuating, and controlling capabilities to the teacher’s performance. The population of this research was 206 junior high school teachers in Tarub Area Commissioner 05 and based on Slovin’s formula 70 samples were obtained through accidental sampling method. The data of research were obtained by questionnaires, literature study, and documentation. Later, to the questionnaires of research, validity and reliability test were conducted. And so classical assumption tests (including normality, multicollinearity, and heteroskedasticity tests). By those several test, all criterions could be fulfilled. To test the validity of each hypothesis, regression analysis and partial significance impact test and so simultaneous significance impact test were applied. Based on those tests, several conclusions on each hypothesis were formulated. They were: (1) Head master’s planning capability of school activities gave the positive impact to the teacher’s performance. (2) Head master’s organizing capability of school activities gave the positive impact to the teacher’s performance. (3) Head master’s actuating capability of school activities gave the positive impact to the teacher’s performance. (4) Head master’s controlling capability of school activities gave the positive impact to the teacher’s performance. (5) Head master’s planning, organizing, actuating, and controlling capabilities gave the positive impact to the teacher’s performance.rnrnKey words: planning capability, organizing capability, actuating capability, controlling capability, andrnteacher’s performance.
