AbstractrnThis research was conducted to determine the effect of adverse selection and locus of controlrnto escalation of commitment. The data that used in this research is primary data. The objectrnof this study is the students of accounting departmen in STIE Bank BPD Jateng. The objectrncan be suppose to be manajer who make investasion decision . There are 71 student who passrnthe Management Accountancy. Linier Regression was conducted to analyze the data. Thernresult show that variable of adverse selection has significant effect to escalation ofrncommitment in decided investment. While locus of control variabel have not significant tornescalation of commitment in investment decided. The R2Adjusted is 52,1% by statistical test.rnKeywords: adverse selection, locus of control, escalation of commitment, investment decided
