ABSTRACTrnFinancial Report is a record of a company's financial information in the accounting period torndescribe the performance of a company. The financial statements reflect the condition of therncompany as well as media management accountability to the stakeholders (stakeholders) and thernshareholder. This study aims to obtain empirical evidence about the influence of the performancernof good corporate governance, firm size, profitability, and leverage on earnings management. Thernsample of this research is a company registered in CGPI the period 2010-2012, which wasrndetermined by purposive sampling method. The statistical method used is linear. The results of thisrnstudy indicate that the mechanisms of good corporate governance and firm size has a significantrninfluence on earnings management profitability and leverage while no significant effect onrnearnings management. Adjusted R2 value of 25.2%. This indicates that the dependent variable thatrncan be explained by the independent variables in this study was 25.2%.rnKeywords: Earnings Management, Good Corporate Governance, Company Size, Profitability,rnLeverage.
